**Please note, that we are keeping the same dues schedule as last year**

Dues for 2022 must be received by mail before February 28, 2022.

No dues for 2022 will be accepted after March 19, 2022.

Club membership will be terminated for those with delinquent dues after this date.

Work Party Credit for 2022 will remain at $35. Your dues MUST also include:

1. Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope.

We use that envelope to return your new membership card. It allows us to process your renewal quickly and get your new membership card out to you in a timely manner. If we receive your dues without a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope, we will place them in an “incomplete” file until we have time to process them. This will result in a significant delay in mailing out your new membership card.

2. Proof of NRA Membership

You must also include current proof of NRA Membership. Proof of membership may be a copy of your NRA Membership Card, valid through at least 2022, or a copy of the most recent mailing label of your NRA Publication. If you receive the NRA publication by email, forward a 2022 mailing to our email address as shown above.

Membership cards will be mailed once dues and NRA membership proof is received and recorded.

2022 Annual Club Meeting

We currently have a tentative date of March 27th for our Annual Club Meeting, to be held at the Eagles Hall in Medina. We are also diligently monitoring the CDC guidelines for group gatherings, thus this may impact our planned meeting. Further updates on range completion/status/updates, etc. will be posted on our website.

Email Notifications

If you do not have an Email account, please include a brief note (such as a Sticky Note) with your dues payment indicating that you do not have internet access. This is so we can be sure that any important announcements, such as unexpected range closings, get out to everyone who doesn’t have access to the website. Also, everyone who does have internet access (and email) please sign up for the Members Only area of the website per the instructions on our Home Page. Note that the Members Only area is currently unavailable, but we hope to have it up and running again in the near future.

****Year-end Update****

Excavation of all three ranges, highpower, 25-yard pistol and 50-yard pistol ranges were finally completed in time for the opening of the 2021 shooting season. Shooting benches were built and placed on the firing lines. Portable target stands built for the 100-yard highpower range, and trap throwers, swinging targets were installed and a few informal programs were held. The steel plates, that we took down from the Grafton facilities, were finally picked up from storage and transported to the range. Thanks to all who assisted us with this endeavor. Our Annual Membership meeting was held at the range in August with roughly 50 members in attendance. A raffle was held and items distributed. We were able to accomplish a lot during the 2021 season….even though it doesn’t really look like much. The main item, Hesco Barriers, finally arrived and several volunteers showed up to help erect the barriers along the side that separates the high power range and 25-yard pistol range. A tractor with a frontend loader and backhoe was purchased to help facilitate with the filing of the barriers with sand. Unfortunately, the weather played a factor with many of the tasks that needed to be done and thus we will hold off with finishing with filling the barriers up until weather permits. With that said, please continue to practice making sure that ALL firing lines are cold prior to heading down range to change/check on your targets.

Range improvements to be done in 2022

The following are tasks that we look to try and accomplish during the upcoming season. All are dependent on having the necessary bodies during work parties and/or volunteer time, and as always, the needed capital.

• Partial cover built above firing lines on the 100-yard range and adjacent pistol range • Install Hesco Barriers on berm behind both pistol ranges • Complete filling Hesco Barriers with sand • Steel supports/I-beams installed for the steel plates on the 25 & 50 yard ranges • Water well to be drilled, location to be determined • Bowling pin area to be configured/designed • Swing gate to replace the current chain linked gate at the entrance
