If there's a single underlying principle in our Junior Rifle Program, it's that parents and their kids need to know how to handle firearms safely and responsibly. It's not just our belief, it's a fact, that: There is no safety in ignorance. So, once a year, we make a special effort to teach all of our Kids, along with their Moms and Dads, how to safely handle and shoot a wide variety of firearms. And we show them that shooting guns responsibly is not only safe, but fun!

First, let's present Lance with his Marksman 1st Class Award!	Let's take a look at some pistols we might want to try out later, AFTER the Gun Safety Demonstration that the guy on the left is going to present!	Our Director of Cowboy Action explains one of the most fun shooting sports.	The Cowboy's Rifle finds it's mark.	Now a pistol swings the target.
And the shotgun finished it off.	Have fun, Cowboys and Cowgirls! And BE SAFE!	The Muzzle Loading demo begins, as Barry shows how to handle Black Powder safely.	Rick tries a shot, but only gets a "flash in the pan".	John Paul gets off a real shot!
Meanwhile, up on the Hipower Range, Val tries out an AR15.	Ricky applies his skill to a Garand.	The AR15 is popular with our guests.	I'd like to try the Tec-9, please.	Jon checks out the Dot Sight on a Smith & Wesson Model 41.
	Peter learns how to handle a single action .22, while Ricky loads up a .357 Magnum.	Peter tries out the .22, while Ricky gets ready for the recoil of the .357.	That .22 rifle belonged to Jon's Great Grandfather. He fires it for the first time, as Dad watches.
